About

Dario has over 30 years’ post-qualification experience and has represented a variety of multinational research based pharmaceutical companies in blockbuster drug patent litigation leading to landmark decisions in this field. He has served as Patent Department and Firm Chairman. Dario’s practice currently includes patent searches, assignments and recordals, reviews and prosecution of incoming patent applications and claim amendments. Dario also heads up the Patent Renewals Section which handles a portfolio of 30 000 patent renewals around the world. He has also contributed on aspects of South African and African patent law in several books and professional periodicals.
